It can also be used as a reference in the future, when you might get stuck in your journey. How do I create an account?
Enter your ID and password on the game login screen. Auto-registration is enabled; no website sign-up is required. See Account Registration.
How does voting work?
Use @vote, complete the captcha and wait 1-3 minutes. You can vote twice daily; the counter resets monthly. Your character must remain online. See Vote.
What are the currencies for?
Infinity Points, Donation Points, Crusader Coins, Vote Points, Golden Meso Bags and the other currencies each belong to specific shops or NPCs. See Currencies.
Where can I see all commands?
See Commands for utility commands such as @loot, @boss and shortcuts such as @c marvel or @c vote.
How do damage skins work?
Use @skin to equip a skin. Its stats combine with unlocked skins and improve while equipped. Tickets are redeemed in FM portal 3. See Damage Skins.
What is the Kaotic Reward Ticket?
Redeem it with Nana (P) in Perion for scrolls, cubes, soul gems and other rewards. Larger amounts give better rewards. See Kaotic Reward Ticket.
How do I fish?
Enter the fishing area from FM portal 2, place bait in the first ETC slot and use the fishing chair. See Fishing.
How do I change resolution?
Press Ctrl + F7, choose a resolution, click Apply & Save and restart the client. See Custom Resolution.
What are the server rules?
Read the official rules and terms in Rules & Regulations. Exploiting systems can result in a permanent ban.
How do IDP and ETC caps work?
Use @boss to inspect them. IDP comes from gear, level, Supreme Pots and rebirth progression; ETC starts at 10,000% and can be expanded with Morale and Duey items. See Commands.
Where should I level early on?
Use Kerning Subway or the Henesys Pig mini-dungeon from level 10-40. Then use NLC, Haunted Chimney and Temple of Time. See Best Leveling Places.
Where should I level at endgame?
Use Fel Monster Park, Master Monster Park, Awakening Dungeon or Regular Monster Park depending on your clear speed. At 5000+, DMP, Arboren Shadow Dungeon and CMP become options.
What is the boss unlock order?
A common progression is Zakum, Pink Bean, Arkarium, Von Leon, Empress, Root Abyss, Tarantula, Damien, Magnus, Hazzard, Lotus, the Arcane River chain, Outpost, Ranmaru, Blackgate City, Khan, Commerci and Arboren. Use the boss sections for keys and drops.
How do I farm %ETC efficiently?
Join a guild, use Wanted Poster quests for Crusader Coins, convert them to Donation Points and run one-hour instances for doubled ETC. See ETC% Farming Guide.
How does the Pal system work?
Go to FM Room 1, talk to Prof. Oak for an egg, hatch it and manage active Pals from Pal Storage. Use @battlemode for trainer battles. See Pal Guide.
How does cubing work?
Progression is Miracle, Super Miracle, Black and Supreme Cubes. Hold Y while cubing for a chance at more lines. See Cubing Guide.
What are Raid Bosses?
They are party-based end-game content: Sellas, Angel Slime, Kalos, Kaling, Extreme Lotus, Abyss and Limbo. See Raid Bosses.
Which Party Quests give the best rewards?
Ancient City, Halloween, Terra, Lucid, Billy, Boss PQ and Kaotic Boss PQ all provide different tickets, coins or NX. See Party Quests and Rewards.
How do I unlock Outpost, Commerci and Arboren?
Outpost follows the Arcane River chain. Commerci requires Khan, Evil Hammers and Lambert Crystals. Arboren requires Riverson, Capo, Denaros and the Kobold pre-quest.
What levels correspond to job advancements?
Explorer, Resistance and Demon jobs advance at 100, 250 and 500. Cygnus advances at 250 and 500. See Jobs.
You can now configure your Kaotic.ini settings directly from inside the game.
1. Press Ctrl + F7 while in-game.
2. The Kaotic.ini Configurator will appear on your screen.
3. Select your preferred screen resolution.
4. Click Apply & Save to save your changes.
5. Finally, click Restart Client Now to restart the game and apply the new settings.
(Example for 1920x1080 resolution)
That's it! Your new resolution will be applied automatically after restarting the client.
You can create an account using the game login screen. Simply enter your desired ID and Password. If you receive an error message, it could mean that your desired ID has been taken, please try again, with a different ID. If you still encounter an error, please contact the staff.
Attention!
The server has auto registration enabled. Please remember to write down your username and password, so you won’t forget it in the future.
We reserve all rights to change and/or modify the rules as we see fit. Amending, adding, or removing certain rules that have been deemed necessary by the staff at GigaMaple. The character with which the vote is cast must be connected to the game until the voting process is completed.

Using @skin, you can equip a damage skin giving you the stats of all skins you have unlocked. While using a skin, it will level up as well, giving you even more stats. The stats of all your damage skins will be applied to you.
To use your Damage Skin Ticket, you must go to the FM map (portal 3), and you must talk to any of these NPC's, depending on the type of Damage Skin Ticket.

The portal to enter the fishing area is located in the Free Market, portal 2.
Bait can be obtained by farming or talking to Lucci in Free Market, portal 4-1.
Note: Put the bait in your first slot of your ETC inventory, then use the fishing chair in the fishing area, after a few seconds, you will be able to fish objects.

NPC Wanted Poster is one of the most important repetitive quests you want to start working on from early levels (Lvl 1000 forward) if no low-tier bosses are running, or you are just tired of leveling, since it will give you %ETC.
The basic concept:
1) Kill mobs.
2) Farm the required ETC that the quest gives you.
3) Complete and get Crusader Coins (CC) and %ETC.
Why do the Wanted Quest?
- They are important for the progress of your account on the server.
- Just like with Pink Bean, sometimes mob ETC is necessary to craft keys, and later in the game boss ETC will be needed to craft keys. This also increases your rewards from bosses regarding scrolls/gems.
- You can farm Donation Points, Totems, Supreme Pots and Grow Stars this way.
What does %ETC do?
%ETC increases your drop rate for ETC drops as the name says (e.g. Mushroom Cap), but it also increases the NON-Equip drops from bosses. This includes Scrolls, Gems, Enhancements, Baits and Boss ETC.
Is there a cap on %ETC?
Yes, the base cap is 10,000% clean, not including the 500% a guild grants you. See below for how to raise it further.
Getting started
1) Join a guild (level 100+). This will boost your %ETC to 500%.
2) If you are under 1000% ETC, use Spindle in Omega Sector to boost your %ETC using Unleashed Coins (farmed from mobs, or by recycling trash ETC with Stirgeman in New Leaf City). Past 1000% this method stops being cost-effective.
3) Once you have a base of ~1000% ETC, check your rate with @boss, then start focusing on Wanted Poster quests until you build a bank of Crusader Coins.
If you don't know where to farm a specific ETC, check maplestory.fandom.com or ask in Discord.
Being effective
- 2500 Crusader Coins = 1 Donation Point.
- An instance costs 10 Donation Points per hour. Inside an instance, ETC drops are doubled (2x) - but mobs will aggro you, so always try to stay the full hour to be the most cost-effective.
- Your main Special Shop purchases should be Donation Points and the Shadow Secret Diary (talk to Elpam Gorlab in New Leaf City after buying it, to change the ETC required for your Wanted Quest).
- Once you have Unleashed Coins, buy ETC items from Agent M in Omega Sector (5,000,000 ETC per Unleashed Coin is a good rate to stock up on).
Reaching the full 10,000% ETC cap is a long process (can take several weeks). Go at your own pace, take breaks, and don't burn out.
Raising the ETC cap beyond 10,000%
There are two ways to increase your personal ETC cap up to a total of 110,000% (10k base + 50k Morale + 50k P2W):
+ F2P (Morale): Killing bosses/monsters from the Ristonia zone and above grants Moral Support, which you exchange for Morale with NPCs found around the world (each gives 1-24 Morale, rerollable by cancelling the chat, with a cooldown based on how much you exchanged). This raises your cap by up to 50k.
+ P2W: Duey sells an item (5 DP each, like I-Pots) that gives +25% ETC cap per item - 2,000 items (10k DP) gets you the other 50k.

In NPC Special Shop (located in FM), you can buy "Shadow Secret Diary", buying this and talking to Elpam Gorlab in New Leaf City right side will change the ETC required in the NPC Wanted Poster.
How to be the Most Effective?:
Once you’ve built up a good supply of Crusader Coins, your main purchase from Crusader Coins is going to be Donation Points and Shadow Secret Diary. Your END GOAL is going to be reach the 10000% ETC CAP and the Shadow Totem.
Requirements to be the most effective :
● 20 Donation Points (50,000 Crusader Coins)
● 10 for Instance and 10 for changing the power
● Good ETC Mob Quest (10,000 Crusader Coins for Shadow Secrey Diary depending on your luck and your mob skills)
Some recommendations :
1.) Find a good ETC to AFK Farm, and always verify that you can AFK farm the map before entering an instance.
2.) Go an Instance (@instnce), AFK Attack 1 Hour.
3.) Use @etc and check how many ETC you obtained.
4.) Go to New Leaf City and talk to NLC Mayor and change your power based on the chart that you can find at the start of the guide.
5.) Get your rewards and rinse and repeat.
Types of upgrading:
1) Soul Gems [upgrades bpot%] [consume slots, max = slots #]
2) Power Scrolls [upgrades STR/DEX/INT/etc] [consume slots, max = slots #]
3) Shards (NX Items) [upgrades STR/DEX/INT/etc] [consume slots, max = slots #]
4) Enhancement Scrolls [does not consume slots, max = 50] - done after you complete your equipment
Soul Gems :
- Soul gems will upgrade the bpot% lines of the equipment. All bpot% lines will be upgraded at the same time, by a fixed number.
1.) Overpower % = [OP %]
2.) Total Damage % = [TD %]
3.) Boss Damage % = [BD %]
4.) Ignore Enemy Defense % = [IED %]
5.) Critical Damage % = [CD %]
6.) All Stats % = [AS %]
- You may use the Soul gems to upgrade your equipment at Free Market portal 4, NPC T-1337. Upgrading your equipment with soul gems WILL NOT be affected by the equipment's tiers, so you can upgrade them whenever you have the resources to.
- Alternatively, you can use Reward Point/Donation Point/Infinity Point to gain even more stats from the Space Pirate Commander.
Power Scrolls :
- Power Scrolls will upgrade your equipment’s Flat Stats. All stats will be upgraded by a random number depending on the scroll’s power. Use at Free Market portal 4, NPC Nameless Soul.
Shards :
- Shards are basically the NX version of power scrolls. They will upgrade your NX’s Flat Stats. All stats will be upgraded by a random number depending on the shard’s power. Use at Free Market portal 4, NPC Adler.
Enhancement Scrolls :
- Enhancement equips are very similar to Starforcing your equipment, in GMS. However, we have a maximum of 50 stars per equipment.
- The stats upgraded by the EES scroll will be the equipment’s flat stats [STR/DEX/INT/LUK/WATT/MATT]. All lines are upgraded with a random amount.
- Use at Free Market portal 4, NPC Cygnus Mentality.
Cubing on GigaMaple follows a simple progression: Miracle Cube → Super Miracle Cube → Black Cube → Supreme Cube. All cubes can be used at Fredrick in the Free Market, or via Move Quickly (Pirate Ship).
All potential lines are fully customized to the server - there is no classic potential pool.
Cube tiers
+ Purple (Miracle Cube) - the weakest tier. Max 3 lines (rare chance to degrade 5/4 lines back to 3). Capped pot% 5-10% based on your pots.
+ Red (Super Miracle Cube) - the middleman, where you'll get the most value early on. Max 4 lines (rare chance to degrade 5 lines back to 4). Capped pot% 10-20% based on pots. Min pot% equals the max value of the Purple cube.
+ Black Cube - max 5 lines (does NOT degrade). Has ALL custom pots enabled. Min pot% equals the max value of the Red cube.
+ Supreme Cube - gives the best possible stats of all cubes, but is harder to obtain.
+ Rainbow Cube - rerolls a single chosen potential line at a time, up to its max %. Has a 25% chance to boom the item (can be protected with a Golden Protection Scroll).
Hold "Y" on your keyboard while cubing for a chance at more lines on the potential.
A good general target while cubing is to reach at least a 4-line potential (5 if you have enough Black Cubes for the last line). Since cubing is random, you won't always get exactly the stats you want, but a few lines of Overpower should still give a solid damage increase.
Black and Rainbow Cubes can also be used on your Heart and Android for decent potentials. Frederick and Hong Niang, both located in the FM, are the NPCs used for this.
Getting started
1. Go to the Free Market and enter Room 1.
2. Talk to Prof. Oak and select "Give me an egg".
3. After receiving the egg, select "Hatch my babies".
4. When you hatch your egg, right-click it in the window that appears to start hatching it.
5. Once hatched, go back to Prof. Oak and select "Check on my Pal storage", then right-click your Pals to put them into your active slots.

Pals 101
1. Green box (IV stats): the higher the IV, the better the stats.
2. Red circle (Pal stats): HP is how much damage the Pal can take before dying. STR + ATK is the physical damage your Pal deals. DEX is its chance to dodge. INT + MATK is the magical damage your Pal deals. LUK is critical chance. DEF/MDEF reduces how much damage it takes.
3. Pink box (abilities): gives your Pals extra stats to be stronger. As for stats passed to the player, you only get 25% per level of what the Pal has - e.g. if a Pal has 1000% STR and is level 1, you only get 25% of that.

Your first rebirth is a major progression milestone. Before speaking to the rebirth NPC, prepare your character and make sure every requirement below is complete.
Requirements before your first rebirth
+ Total Level 9000 or higher. This is the rebirth requirement, not only the level shown on the current character.
+ Complete the required achievement (internal achievement ID 440). If the NPC still says that you are not strong enough, this achievement is usually the missing requirement.
+ Have 10 IP ready. For the first rebirth the cost is 10 Infinity Points. Later rebirths use a cost based on your current rebirth count.
+ Be below 99 rebirths. The normal rebirth NPC does not accept characters at 99 or more rebirths.
How to do it
1.) Finish your current progression and reach Total Level 9000+.
2.) Complete the required achievement and verify that you have at least 10 IP.
3.) Visit the rebirth NPC and choose the rebirth option. The NPC will show the exact IP cost before confirming.
4.) Confirm the exchange. The IP is consumed, your rebirth count increases by 1, and your character returns to the normal starting progression.
5.) After rebirthing, check your stats and use the rebirth menu again to review your new bonuses and progression.
There is a 1-hour cooldown between rebirths. If you see “Come back later”, wait for the cooldown shown by the NPC.
Recommended preparation
+ Keep your best equipment, weapon and damage skin equipped before starting the rebirth.
+ Use @info and @stats to record your current progression, and @boss to check your boss, drop and ETC stats.
+ Leave enough inventory space for any achievement or progression rewards.
+ Do not spend your last IP before opening the NPC. The first rebirth needs 10 IP, and the NPC checks the balance when you confirm.
+ Use @C rb to open the rebirth menu/shortcut when it is available on your character. You can also use the rebirth NPC directly. If the menu says you are not strong enough, check the Total Level, achievement and IP requirements first.
Fel Monster Park:
If you can clear much higher stages than you’re allowed to enter in MMP.
Master Monster Park:
Clearing the highest tier stages you can, best with a full party.
Awakening Dungeon:
If the tier you can clear is comparable to MMP/FMP.
Regular Monster Park:
If you haven’t cleared all of MP-Hell.

Raid Bosses are the toughest, party-based end-game challenges on GigaMaple, unlocked as you progress past Sellas and the following boss maps (Toolen, Cernium, Nian, Arcuss Hotel, Odium, Shangri La and Arretia). They are best attempted with a full raid/party.
Detailed per-boss requirements (keys, drop tables, bonus stats) for these raids are being compiled by the team - use @c discord to ask staff or veteran players for the latest strategies.

We go to where we have downloaded the GigaMaple v111.4 installer, in this case we save it to the Desktop.
Then we right click on it and choose the option "Extract here". We wait for the GigaMaple v111 file to finish unzipping, then we go to the GigaMaple Installer folder on our desktop.
At the end of the extraction, in the GigaMaple Installer folder, we will find 12 files.
We go to the folder where we have unzipped the GigaMaple installer, which is located on our desktop, and run the file with the name “GigaMaple_Setup.exe”.
Here you can choose the language of the guide for the game installation. Once you have chosen the language, click OK.
OPTIONAL: Here you can choose the path where the game will be installed, you can also choose where you want to install the game, simply by clicking on "Browse" and then choose the path.
In this case, we will choose the local disk drive C. Once we have chosen the installation path, we click “OK” and then “Next”.
Here it will show us the option to place as direct access our game, to the desktop. Once selected the option, we click on "Next".
Here it will show you the detail of everything previously selected or chosen. Once we agree we click on "Install".
Once the installation is finished, click "Finish". We look for the “GigaMaple” file on our desktop, which will be the one we will always use to log in to play.
You will need to download one of these setup packages. These packages contain the files to play on the server. Once you have done that, you will need to download the client/launcher.

If you have problems downloading the game (the download is cancelled in the middle of the process or does not let you download), using Google Drive, you can be guided by this video:
- When we are inside the “DLL Add-ins” folder, we will find 5 additional folders, which each one contains some DLL file installers.
- Example:
MSCVP110.dll Folder - VCRedist 2012- Just double click on the installer (in this case we chose x64), then accept the conditions and finally click INSTALL.
Recommendation: Install all x86 and x64 executables.
NOTE: Repeat these steps for the other files. Once all the plug-ins are installed, it is recommended to restart the PC to successfully save changes.
